Note: Due to the closeness of the last Sunday of Advent to our Christmas Eve Eve worship I only wrote a manuscript for one of the messages . . . Christmas Eve Eve. I hope this outline helps you get a sense of where I was "going" with the 4th Sunday in Advent message.

There is nothing that leads us into the spirit or feeling of Christmas like music. The familiar carols, the majestic strains of Handel's Messiah, the beautiful "O Holy Night". Music and Christmas have always gone together. There are several examples of songs in the Christmas story:
