The 2008 Mission Trip to Beaufort, SC

Our mission team headed to Beaufort, SC and spent the week serving some of the poorer areas of the city, doing home repairs for families that couldn't afford them. A total of 13 adults and students went on the trip. This is the third year that we have sent student on a mission trip. Each year we plan the trip through the Group Workcamps Foundation, and we are in the planning process for next year. If you might be interested in participating in next year's trip, let Rick know right away!

We will be having a meeting to plan for next year's trip on Sunday, August 10th immediately following our 10:30 worship service (so around 11:45). We hope to pick our destination for next year's trip as well as determining how many people will be going. So, if you'd like to participate in next year's trip (or even think you might), please make it a point to be at the meeting, or failing that, shoot an e-mail to Rick.

The 2007 Mission Trip to Savannah, GA

In 2007 our Mission Team traveled to Savannah, GA and back to renovate houses for people who could not afford to do it themselves. The served alongside nearly 400 other students, and made a huge impact on the community and those they served.
